Founded in 2012 by the Brussels-Capital Region and the Catholic University of Louvain (UCLouvain), BLSI is a public-interest incubator that helps entrepreneurs turn their innovations into sustainable businesses.
Based in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, on the UCLouvain health campus, right next to the Saint-Luc University Clinics, BLSI benefits from particularly strong expertise in the life sciences and healthcare. Businesses from other innovative technology sectors also fully benefit from the same environment, support and network.
Your project remains in your hands
BLSI’s mission is to foster the transformation of innovation and research findings into sustainable businesses. To this end, it offers entrepreneurs a challenging yet supportive environment in which they can test their ideas, mobilise the right resources and develop their business.
BLSI does not take any equity stake in the incubated companies and is not involved in running them. You retain your autonomy and benefit from a critical, experienced and independent perspective, focused on the success of your project.
